Our logo is based on the star cluster Orion, often called a constellation. The choice is our small tribute to the genius of Douglas Adams, author of the book and TV series ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy’ In the book, the captain of the Starship ‘Heart of Gold’, famous for its infinite improbability drive, was Zaphod Beeblebrox. Zaphod has two heads and three arms, and allegedly came from Betelgeuse, the brightest star in the Orion galaxy..

To find Orion in the night sky

Many mobile applications use a phone's GPS to identify celestial objects in real-time by pointing the device at the sky. I would recommend ‘Star Chart’ as I think this is the best free stargazing app available.
